I would like to sincerely thank the public of Western Australia and Australia in general for signing this online petition. I have also recieved hundreds of emails and messages of support from people as far as the UK, Italy and Spain.

I am proud to announce that on the 20th of June 2019, the Attourney General of WA John Quigley supported a recommendation by the Prison Review Board of Western Australia that Dante Arthurs not be released. He will not be considered again for parole until the 26th of June 2022.

Arthurs' sentence was manifestly inadequate when he was convicted in 2007. A system of failure which 13 years later Sofias' family are having to deal with again, as they will once more in 3 years.

I would hope that each time Dante Arthurs' is considered for parole, the Attorney General will continue to take into consideration how poorly Sofias' family were let down by our apparent 'Justice System"!
