I’ve been living in the Turner Station community since a child. I could remember the countless times actually enjoying the flooded streets. Child things like “swimming” in the damn dirty water but now play time is over. No amount of heavy rain should flood an area like it does here. I’ve had to sleep with one eye open to gauge when I would have to move my car. Moved my car ahead of the weather to prevent my car flooding. Moved a neighbor car to prevent flooding. Knocking on neighbors doors to tell them to move to prevent flooding. Walking in thigh high amounts of water to get home as I park my car in dry areas. Having to rent equipment to dry my crawl space to prevent mold. Enough is enough!!! This has been going on for too many years and the drains that were added years ago aren’t working. I don’t know about anyone else but I am absolutely sick of this issue that seems to be overlooked because it doesn’t hinder a majority. JOHNNY WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!!!
