Today the cheque from the RCM hardship grant cleared and I have paid in £190 from the £250 ... I was unable to pay all as I am falling in another cleft of no benefits being paid to me, so need to buy some food for me and my cats. I have a government DWP assessment on 19th July so I rather think I will not be given anything until this. It is a disgraceful affair for women victims of domestic violence and over 60yrs to be treated like this by the failings of a system to support from all the tax we pay in. The easy option would be to permit me State Pension but this is forbidden till 2020 if I live that long when I will be 66yrs.. I have today written to the Mayor of Hillingdon with my concern that women should be treated like this from badly written policies that fail to support in time of need copies sent to the Mayor of London, My Mp John McDonnell and copies to Boris Johnson as it is in his borough this is happening and quite frankly it is shameful.... I have sent a copy to Jeremy Corbyn as we need full review and amendments of policies that are at present failing women in need of help and support...
I am aware my address is visible and I do have a careline if anyone came to hurt me.... so feel secure but at the present it is the system that hurts me!
