In May of 2015, I was seated on the East Aurora School Board and made the mistake of voting for Annette Johnson to be the School Board President.

In March of 2016 before electing a new board president, a staff member and their attorney approached me to make me aware that Annette Johnson was threatening staff with their jobs.  She claimed to have four votes and if that person did not respond to her, then she would have them fired.  I made the rest of the board aware of the behavior and expressed my concerns.  Unfortunately, three of them still voted to make Ms. Johnson board president for another term.

Two days ago, someone sent me an audio recording of Board President Johnson screaming and verbally assaulting staff members. I expand on my rationale for this petition at www.progressivefox.com.

This audio file validates the reckless and unconscionable verbal abuse that is being used to manipulate and control staff in District 131.  It has to stop.  I am asking you to sign my petition calling on Annette Johnson to resign.  Yes staff, be cautious because Annette is vindictive.  I suggest only entering "anonymous staff" and perhaps the building that you work in.

This anger-driven behavior will not stop until we put enough community pressure on Johnson to resign.
