The State of Ohio needs to join the ranks of California, Connecticut, New York and Washington in allowing conjugal visits for prison inmates, also known as extended family visits.  It is a documented fact that these visits promote family bonds and improve prisoner morale.  The positivity of these visits are innumerable.  These visits are not just beneficial to the inmates.  The family members need these visits as well. Governor Kasich, remember the family members did not do anything wrong.  Why are the family members being punished?  We URGE you to institute a conjugal visit program immediately for the Ohio inmates and their family members.
