On November 9th, my boyfriend was shot in killed over a marijuana transaction that went bad. He was shot 5 times in the chest leaving myself and our best friend to find him dead on his bedroom floor. There are 23 states that allow for medical marijuana in the US with Ohio not being one of them. I watched the man I loved the most die to give people the medicine they needed and I refuse to watch it happen again. There must be change. We must learn from this and realize that the war on drugs is not working. I will do everything in my power to end prohibition for medical users in this state. My life partner was a sufferer of anxiety and PTSD like so many other Ohioan's. He wanted to give medicine to those in need and I will make sure those Ohioan's still get it.  Sign the petition. Let Ohio politicians understand what is really going on when there is an underground drug trade. Let them allow for legal caregivers and purchase of medical marijuana.
