OFFICIAL PETITION TO MAKE JOHN IVORY MCYFL PRESIDENT

We, the concerned citizens, parents, coaches, volunteers, concession-stand workers, chain-gang operators, and survivors of youth football in Marion County, hereby formally demand that John Ivory — unquestionably the greatest youth sports director Marion County has ever produced — be immediately elevated to President of MCYFL.

Why continue searching when greatness has been standing directly in front of us this entire time?

Under John’s visionary leadership, no clerical error is too small to investigate, no technicality too obscure to enforce, and no situation too simple to turn into a full-scale administrative proceeding.

Some people see youth football.

John sees governance.

Some people see kids playing a game.

John sees policies, procedures, bylaws, subcommittees, investigations, appeals, emergency meetings, and potentially several strongly worded emails.

This is exactly the type of leadership MCYFL deserves.

We need a president capable of protecting the integrity of youth football from its greatest threats: paperwork, improperly checked boxes, questionable signatures, and — God forbid — somebody simply accepting a loss and moving on with their life.

Therefore, we respectfully request that MCYFL stop delaying the inevitable and install John Ivory as President immediately.

Not because MCYFL needs him.

Because youth football itself needs him.
