A bus depot is proposed to replace a suburban park, through which a fragile creek runs.  As well as ruining one of the few remaining natural salmon spawning grounds, noise, pollution and increased traffic threaten to affect Craigflower Creek and local residents.  The depot will seriously affect access to the nearby General Hospital, the tranquility of Galloping Goose Trail and the safety of a neighbouring school.  The town of View Royal already denied the province's request to change the zoning from park to industrial, and the Province of British Columbia is over-ruling this democratic decision to save a few dollars.   There are many other industrial sites available.
