We the undersigned petition

Prior to Barnet Council adoption of Charcot Road NW9 of the Pulse Development.

We ask that Barnet Council to consider certain areas of Charcot Road NW9 to implement CPZ subset parking regulation.

Ideally the development on Charcot Road NW9 would need Pay and Display - maximum stay varies from place to place depending on local needs shared use parking places might combine business and/or resident permit parking with pay and display on certain parts of Charcot Road to reach a number of 20 bays spread accordingly on Charcot Road NW9 similar to how Beaufort Park development has implemented unifying the community needs.

On Charcot Road NW9 the Pulse Development a number of visitors are coming to the commercial units such as Pure Gym, ITJL Restaurant, Sainsbury's, Cieo Sisha and Restaurant, Mibento Restaurant, SpaccaNapoli Pizzeria excluding the future opening of two new units of a Deli Butcher and replacement of &Suya Restaurant also will require parking spaces.

But we must also consider family, friends and disabled who visit the Pulse Development on Charcot Road NW9 who also require short term parking and have not been privileged.

However the Council and Highways are not comprehending the needs of 1087 residents and commercial units on the Pulse development on Charcot Road NW9 ! see below

Barnet Council and Highways plans below :

Daisy Ford , Members Case Officer for Barnet has stated

"A number of months ago officers highlighted a series of snagging issues within the area to be adopted. These were communicated with the developers and these works are now being undertaken.Once the works have been completed and a Stage 3 road safety audit has been undertaken, provided the findings of this are suitable, it will be transferred to the maintained period (24months), in which the developer will be responsible for the up keep of the section of highway to be adoptable, once this has been completed it will become fully adopted.

The current adoption plan provides no paid for parking on this section of the highway network(not adopted at present). The proposed double yellow lines in this area create a clearway with no opportunity for parking (paid for, permit or unrestricted)."

Roger L Gilbert, Contract Manager Commercial & Customer Services for Barbet has stated

"As far as we are aware, the Charcot Road site will not be adopted until sometime in 2020, possible around the Summer time, or later."

Louis, Case Management Officer for Highways

"The Road adoption of Charcot road NW9 does it foresee the creation of Pay & Display , double yellow lines to allow support for the commercial units as well as visitors to the development;

• No paid for parking is proposed for this section of highway network, the double yellow lines in this area create a clearway.

Many parking areas of the pulse development had been discussed at the Hendon Area Committee;

• This is not a highways issue."

BARNET'S COUNCIL VIEW OF PARKING IN COLINDALE MORE PARKING IS REQUIRED NOT LESS!

HENDON AREA COMMITTEE NON-FORMAL PROPOSAL OF PARKING SPACES - PAY & DISPLAY 08:00 - 20:00 LOCATED IN SPECIFIC AREAS OF COLINDALE CHARCOT ROAD PULSE

Your Support and Say will action the community needs which have not been listened by Barnet Council and Highways.
