Concerned Friends and Citizens of Lake Bistineau in Bossier, Webster, Bienville Parish, surrounding parishes and people worldwide hereby petition the State of Louisiana to keep State Parks open mainly Lake Bistineau State Park. People from all over the county visit this one of the OLDEST Lakes in the country.

Budget cuts are threatening to take our park away! Don't let this happen!

We the people feel we deserve to have use of this park as others do in their states. If this park is destined to close, the people would want the chance to take it over.

We have a lake community of over 4200 people that have come together to create a Facebook page dedicated to saving Lake Bistineau. We consider the State Park as our Heaven...Serenity...our Get-a-Way!
We cannot sit back and watch this park close and not do anything.

YOU do NOT have to be a citizen of Louisiana to sign this petition you must only have a love for the State Park. You can reside anywhere.

I had to edit this because we have people from New Zealand and The Netherlands that visit our Park...we are worldwide.
