The Syrian people are suffering terribly, and need our help. Humans deserve the basic rights of shelter, food/water, and safety at the minimal. The war may last for many more years, but how much longer can we sit by and not do anything to help? The least we can do is allow a dramatic increase in the resettlement of Syrian refugees.This means increasing the number allowed in the United States. Currently, around 600 refugees have been resettled here. The neighboring Arab countries allowed thousands-millions of refugees, but they are past their capacity. 

All I am asking for is for you to sign this petition. We would be able to take in close to 70,000 people a year, and it would not negatively affect our economy. I am sending this to the Senator of Delaware, he has a voice, and I hope he can see how personal and important this is for HUMANITY!!! If changes are not made, I am still grateful that you took the time to help. Good comes to those who show care in this world.

 All we need is the OPPORTUNITY from the government, and it starts with: WE THE PEOPLE. Please help, and thank your for your time and empathy.
