People in the deaf/hard of hearing community often do not have the money for earing aids. There are very few organizations that help cover the expense of hearing aids, with most of them only being for children, resulting in people over 18 years old having no way to afford an earing aid. We live in a hearing world, and this community derives the right to hearing aids as a medical option for insurances.
