BMA - Call a National Demonstration in Support of Junior Doctors

The Issue

Junior Doctors face the imposition of a new contract in August 2016. This contract discriminates against women, single parents and those with disabilities. It is unsafe because it removals vital safeguards around working hours and is unfair to doctors who work nights, weekends and on-call shifts.

There has been huge public support for Junior Doctors and their fight to protect their working conditions. With successful regional demonstrations across the country. The BMA should now call a national demonstration in support of Junior Doctors to allow Junior Doctors, Healthcare Professionals and members of the public to show their support.
