There have been recent scheduling changes proposed to be put into action as of this upcoming September. These changes potentially include integrating math and science, three hour blocks instead of one and a half, daily source classes, band during lunch, and only one exam break. There has been little consultation of students and parents resulting in stress and confusion for families planning on staying at westmount. This petition is to move changes from September of this upcoming year to September of next year. This time would be used to consult students and parents and figure out the details surrounding this change. We want to make sure that the current grade 9s are not affected by these possible changes throughout their high school experience, especially as this change was brought up after high school applications were due.
