Tennessee football not only provides a source of enjoyment to Volunteer fans, it also makes significant economic contributions to the University of Tennessee and surrounding Knoxville community. Recent attempts were made to hire Greg Schiano, a person rumored to be disreputable in character, as head coach of the Tennessee football team. As the person responsible for such a hire, AD John Currie has proven to be incompetent of making decisions out of the best interest for the University of Tennessee athletic department. As a result, John Currie should be fired immediately.
