In 2010, under the Obama/Biden administration, the Food and Drug Administration put a ban on the sale of Four Loko products containing caffeine. With Biden back in office, he now holds the power to repeal this ban. At a time of economic struggle and political divide in the United States, this could be the key to unifying our country and restoring peace in society.

Mixing caffeine and alcohol can be a dangerous combination with very harmful side effects. However, bars & restaurants continue to sell Vodka-Red Bulls, Jägerbombs, and other drinks combining the two substances. These drinks are arguably more dangerous, as they mix HARD alcohol with caffeine, as opposed to a simple malt beverage such as Four Loko. 

Liquor stores have no problem selling cans of Red Bull, Monster, and other energy drinks - encouraging their customers to mix these with alcohol. Our country is in economic turmoil as a result of one of the worst recessions in history. Why should we buy alcohol AND caffeinated drinks, when a company is willing to save us the money and do it for us? It would be safer and more efficient to regulate the sale of caffeinated Four Lokos, as opposed to encouraging consumers to attempt to recreate their own version of the drink at home.
