Update: The owner is keeping the doors open to continue to recieve the funds that the students applied for. It's absurd that funds are placed before health. It shows what this company clearly does and does not care about and its clearly not about the students. Share this petition to have this issue resolved because many families are put in danger by this company. 

The crisis of the virus COVID-19 is clearly a life threating situation on which the Government of the U.S has no handle over. I want Avalon to close its doors not permanantly but for a small amount of time until we can feel safe and not have to worry about this growing issue. Everybody is effected with this virus because it can be transmitted to our loved ones or our community. The total amount of the infected in AZ has not yet been counted for and currently we are at a total of 18 with the virus. CDC did make a statement that the infected could be a total number of 70,000 or more in AZ alone. At Avalon all ages are serviced which makes it a risk to keep the school open because it is life threatening. Please sign this petition to ask the owner and Jody Wasmer to close there doors to try to help keep this virus under control.

Also, just by washing your hands and surfaces does not stop the virus from infecting another person.
