Thank you BC for continuing to have this conversation about Abolishing MSP Premiums in BC! I watched the debate and listened carefully to each of the political parties response to what they were going to do about our regressive tax on health care. BC Liberals - IF you vote for us and IF we have the money, we will do something about it... maybe BCNDP - They have a plan for a plan about a plan... BC Greens - Their progressive policy is to tie it to income tax, similar to what is happening in Ontario. As you can see there is only one political party that has a concise and concrete response to this issue. The most important thing you can do this May 9th is to vote! 45% of our citizens did not vote in the last election, if they had.... Please continue to have this conversation about the importance of progressive taxation policies, not flat rate user fees and the importance of voting... we can make a difference! Please vote for something, don't fall into the fear mongering for voting for someone just to keep someone else out! Please continue to share this petition, there are over 77,000 concerned BC citizens that want to be treated like the rest of Canada. It is time to Abolish MSP Premiums in BC Thank you so much!
