There are more than 4000 people affected by Multiple Sclerosis in Northern Ireland. The Dalriada Hospital in Ballycastle is the only dedicated MS respite unit. It's closure would have a devastating impact not only locally on the families of it's patients and staff but also nationwide on the people who rely on this vital service.
