The Province of Gauteng wants to assess whether there is sufficient demand for Gautrain bus stops at the Johannesburg High Court, Magistrates’ Court, and CCMA, and wants a petition to be conducted.

Currently, many legal professionals and members of the public avoid travelling on the Gautrain to Park Station due to the absence of a safe and reliable transport link from the station to key legal institutions. This undermines the purpose of the Gautrain as a convenient and efficient mode of transport.
We believe that a dedicated Gautrain bus service to these institutions will improve safety, encourage public transport use, and reduce congestion. We respectfully call on the Province of Gauteng to assess ridership demand and determine whether a new bus route is warranted.
