You should be outraged at the claim by the Turnbull government this week that they are claiming to "ban" credit card surcharges. They are lying to us all! STOP THE RIPOFF. They are saying they will stop "unfair" surcharges!!! Good lord! Consumers do not want them. They are all unfair and Jetstar is by far the worst offender. They are bad for business. It causes all consumers to hate that business at the moment of the buying transaction. When will they all wake up! Sadly, I feel the government may have lost the plot here and the RBA along with them. They are ignoring consumer sentiment on this issue and they will pay the price if they keep this up.
