 A pitbull type puppy was seized two days after being ok'd at Jersey customs and initially let through. Please help us to reunite this puppy  with his family.

Pitbull terriers are banned from the Island without the proper liscencing. The puppy was brought to Jersey from Slovakia on Sunday.  Jersey Customs allowed the pitbull type puppy through and then two days later, called Jane Doe, who claims to be the owner of the dog, and arranged a meeting.  They then seized the puppy.

(Quote)...."Customs dispute this series of events and say: "..the dog in question was allowed to remain in the care of its owner at the time of importation while the necessary advice was taken out about whether the animal was likely to be of a Pitbull type. This involved examining pictures of the dog's parents that had been provided by the importer. The following day, advice was received from three independent sources that the dog was likely to be of the Pitbull type. As a result, it had to be seized." This puppy and his family have done nothing wrong and did not deserve this.   Help us fight to reunite them.
