• We, dog owners, are forced to improvise by using the gated tennis courts or basketball courts when they are not occupied. Dog owners have recently been issued tickets and fined for allowing their pets to socialize and exercise off-leash in the courts. This is unfair and unjust when there are no other options available to exercise our pets.
• As civically responsible, law-abiding members of the Jersey City Heights community, and among the constituency that most frequently uses the park year-round, we are asking for the creation of a suitable public space for our specific needs.
