I've been an REI member since 1979, and I have always believed REI to be an environmentally conscious organization.  But REI promotes an REI MasterCard that is issued by US Bank.  US Bank is helping to fund the Dakota Access Pipeline, which threatens the water supply of millions and the sacred sites of Native Americans.  Thousands of Native Americans, veterans, and other supporters have put their bodies on the line for months to protest this pipeline.  The pipeline directly contradicts everything that REI stands for.  As an environmentally conscious organization, REI should stand with Standing Rock!  We call on REI to immediately end its association with US Bank and thereby exert pressure on US Bank to pull out of DAPL.
