Due to the very near future of newts and salamanders being banned to being shipped to the US, we will be left with it being harder to find salamanders and newts in the pet-trade. Some species have a very high demand, but are very rare or non-existent on the pet trade. If animals (Such as Northwestern salamanders, Rough-skinned newts, Alligator lizards, ect) are allowed to be legally collected from California and Capitally Bred, it will first off, lessen the illegal collection from the wild once captive bred ones appear, and it will allow everyone to learn about caring for species once unknown, most people not on the west coast have not even heard of an Alligator lizard, so this is still very important! Plus, it will stop the spread of B.salamandrivorans (Chytridiomycosis) into the wild salamanders and newts of the US
