This petition is very important to have animal abuse charges and in jail on Jeromy (Jeremy) Mixon and Brad Stewart to be charged to the fullest extent of the law, and to have the DA Mark Matloff off this case in conflict of interest being friends with these two people that are abusing this horse. I am outrage in how this so called training/breaking technique that Mixon and Stewart use on horses, stand and whipping the horse, sitting and spurring the horse while hogtied in both incidents, there is no such method in this abuse to train nor break a horse. Mixon can not and will not prove (only by words) about this so called method he is doing This is solid abuse that Mixon n Stewart have inflicted on this horse, I do not know if the horse is alive or dead, there is a conflict of yes and no answers to this and I want to see solid proof of this horse that mite be alive or dead, and see these two punished for the crime they have done. The law in Oklahoma statutes quotes: section 1685 - Crutelty to animals ... Any person who shall willfully or maliciously overdrive, overload, torture, destroy or kill, or cruelly beat or injure, maim or mutilate, any animal in subjugation or captivity, whether wild or tame, and whether belonging to himself or to another, or deprive any such animal of necessary food, drink or shelter; or who shall cause, procure or permit any such animal to be so overdriven, overloaded, tortured, destroyed or killed, or cruelly beaten or injured, maimed or mutilated, or deprived of necessary food, drink or shelter; or who shall willfully set on foot, instigate, engage in, or in any way further any act of cruelty to any animal, or any act tending to produce such cruelty, shall be guilty of a felony and shall be punished by imprisonment in the state penitentiary not exceeding five (5) years, or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or by fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).  Any officer finding an animal so maltreated or abused shall cause the same to be taken care of, and the charges therefor shall be a lien upon such animal, to be collected thereon as upon a pledge or a lien. 

The Sherriff has shifted all complaints to the DA Mark Matloff  and since he is friends with these two will do nothing about it, the law is the law, and the DA cannot and will not do his job.
