The comments that many of you have made are so rich in the love you have for Coningham Beach, that I'm confident our voices will be heard. But did you know Coningham Beach and the adjoining marine area is recognised as an Environmental Management Zone in the Kingborough Interim Planning Scheme 2015? Well it seems Kingborough Council forgot. They approved the jet ski tour business that is operating from Coningham Beach under the Kingborough Interim Planning Scheme as a home-based business. The Council has not considered the operations of this business on Coningham Beach or in the adjoining marine area (recognised under their own planning scheme as an Environmental Protection Zone) because they deemed the operation of the business in these areas as innocuous. If you don't agree, if you consider the operations of this business impact on your quiet enjoyment of Coningham Beach, please let Kingborough Council know your feelings.
