By taking away unhealthy snack options like canteen and soda, GUCI is removing an element that makes it so fun and special. We, the campers of Goldman Union Camp Institute, want canteen, soda machines, and unhealthy cereals available to us like they have been in past years. It should not be the decision of the camp to force kids to eat more healthily, but rather parents should be allowed to continue to make the choice of whether to send their children to camp with money to spend on snacks and sodas from canteen.
