As members of the public, this announcement made our blood run cold.

Throughout this dispute the doctors have consistently made the case that the new contract will put patients at risk. Doctors spend years of their lives training to help people and save lives. When they say patient welfare will be put at risk, we believe them.

We don't want to wait for patients to die before taking action. We need to act now.
