This increase in the Student Loan interest rates is beyond an attack on students - it's the dismantling of a knowledge-based society by an intelligentsia that seems compelled to push those who are the educated middle-class and working-class millennials to unheard of despair. The disparity between the rich and poor has grown greatly, but to stifle hard work and effort, and to make life unaffordable for those who just wanted to learn, is something unforgivable.

This campaign has ambition. It should not merely be a list of signatures, but needs to lead into something more. We have laws in this country, that this government has nonchalantly broken.

Our brilliant 2:1 Historian of a Chancellor of the Exchequers and our current Prime Minister have sold us a lie. Under all our noses, they've begun selling student loan debt to private debt holders who are increasing interests rates as they see fit. This is illegal. No government, regardless of what they might have slipped into our contracts for the student loan, may flagrantly tell us in the press of their supposed intentions - then sell us a contract that is the opposite. 

What I hope with the campaign is to first, generate interest - not just with students but with those who have already had an education and are successful, and those in financial institutions to donate to our cause. We, together, as a generation need to go beyond making our voices heard - we need to sue the state. We need a fund that can be used as a honey-pot - not by a Union, but comprised of individuals who fight for the people. Education is a Human Right - we need to bully back a government that thinks they can walk all over us.

Those studying law and the professors at University institutions; and solicitors who fight for the people too, need to help with this case. If the campaign to sue the state can be financed, then there is no reason for not trying. 

A GoFundMe page will be setup to invest in this cause. All donations will be used to finance the case against our current government, and against those who bought our student loans.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. As a united collective, a government will never win. If you don't fight against what you know is plainly wrong - then you are as much to blame.
