Thanks to everyone who has signed the petition so far. By next week I'll have some more news on what will happen to the petition next... I've re-posted Jennifer Saul's Huffington Post article on what's at stake with this crisis; the situation in Sheffield potentially grossly affects any pretence of democracy that's left for everyone in the UK. In the mean time, please keep sharing the petition and talking to your friends, neighbours and family about the Sheffield trees crisis and why this PFI disaster needs mediating by somebody who is not merely intervening to score political points due to their party rapidly haemorraghing public support, someone who is against PFI contracts and who is not an architect of the austerity that is causing suffering and death amongst the people of the UK.
