We are inviting everyone who supports the French Immersion program to attend the School Board meeting on Tuesday, April 9 2019 @ 6pm (Westbank location.) The decision is still not on the agenda and like I’ve said before, never discussed in the public meeting nor voted upon at past meetings! 

Ideally, I need parents that put in the application durning the shortened window to step forward, so we can see the exact number of those who applied. I am being told one number and others that have since contacted me were given a different number. Yet the Superintendent is still citing a “lack of interest” in the program.

Additionally, I have recently learned that New Orleans is about to open the 1st French Accredited High School IN THE COUNTRY this fall. Why would JP want to bow out of the fight to get more tax payers living within the Parish because there is a local French Immersion Elementary school?
