Justice for Angelica and Kameron Jones' maternal family

Justice for Angelica and Kameron Jones' maternal family
The Issue
Angelica Jones was a 26-year old mother who made her daily decisions based, first and foremost, on the best interest of her son Kameron. She consistently put him first in any decision that involved him. She tried to do as much as she could by herself but raising Kameron has been a family effort from the beginning. Each one of Kameron’s maternal family members has been a part of his life. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his paternal side. Granting full custody to an individual that has never been a part of a child’s life is not in the best interests of any child, especially a child that has experienced the loss that Kameron has endured. Kameron lost his mother and the only family that he has ever known within two months. He met his biological father two weeks after his mother was murdered and was placed in his care until a final custody hearing. We are urging the Bessemer Family Court to review all facts in this case and make a judicial ruling based on the best interests of Kameron. To ask Kameron to adjust to the death of the only parent he has known and experience limited visitation with a family he has seen daily since he was born and to uproot him to another household with a family he has only known for 4 months is unfair and obviously not in the best interests of Kameron. We are requesting that everyone help us spread the word and get some attention out on this case. 3-year old Kameron has no voice but we all can speak on his behalf and in his best interests. Please pass this along we are asking that you all flood calls and emails to Kameron’s guardian ad litem, Thomas Thrash, 205-424-1818. Email address is thomas@tethrashlaw.com. His address is 1913 4th Ave. N. Bessemer, AL 35020. The Judge that will preside over the case is Honorable Lorraine Pringle, 205-744-3555. Her address is 1801 3rd Ave. N. Bessemer, AL 35020.
