We Demand Fair, Un-Biased and Truthful Reporting of the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict.
The Issue
We condemn the blatantly biased and leading disingenuous reporting of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. Your reporting of the conflict has been notoriously Pro-Israeli partisan and biased.
In every segment regarding this conflict you have portrayed the Israeli’s as innocent victims of “Palestinian Terrorists”. Your predictable and pejorative use of the word “Terrorist” to describe alleged Palestinian perpetrators, is an overtly bigoted attempt to dehumanize and debase the very REAL Palestinian victims of the Israeli Defense Forces that are currently armed and illegally occupying The West Bank and Gaza as they proactively ensure the continued illegal colonization of The West Bank. Your repeated description of Illegal Settlements as “Israeli Neighborhoods” is a direct manipulation of the facts but is also in complete and intentional disregard of United Nations Resolution 194, granting “Right of Return” to Palestinians and making clear that the ILLEGAL COLONIZATION is a clear violation of Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention a fact, that I am sure is not lost on CNN, CNN International, Time Warner and your affiliates.
Your refusal to not only hold your reporting staff to the standards of fair and unbiased reporting, but to take to task your contributors such as Michael Oren who you have continually allowed to hijack and control the true narrative of this conflict is reflective of your inability to report the news in a clear and nondiscriminatory manner. Your refusal to report and shed light on the continued and barbaric acts of aggression and murder of Palestinian children in the streets of The West Bank can only be deemed as a clear and concise Pro-Israel stance held by CNN, CNN International and Time Warner and is in direct conflict with the very ethos of ethical journalism.
We call for a complete boycott of CNN and CNN International programs. Boycott its sponsors and affiliates. We urge you to write letters to CNN, CNN International, Time Warner and its sponsors and link this petition. It is time to tell the main stream media enough is enough. We need the media, especially CNN and other cable news outlets, to report the news without bias, without corruption.
