Ready, Set, Go was written and released in October 2021. One month before the release of the official Sonic 2 trailer. 

The song was originally written for the Twitch Songwriters competition Ep. 2. It was researched by Reina Mystique and her Twitch community to ensure full accuracy to the Eggman backstory. 

Ready, Set, Go is the Dr. Robotnik theme song, based on the Eggman character portrayed by Jim Carrey. 

The lyrics to the song incredibly follow the movie (from what the trailer shows) and would be a perfect addition to the franchise.
