The worst thing that can happen to an animal, living in the wild, is to be caught in a trap!   First, there is the physical injury and pain, coupled by the psychological stress of the animal being unable to flee; being unable to return to the den or nesting area to tend to the young (who will starve, or be taken by predators if the mother does not return). These trapped mothers suffer the anxiety of not being able to get back to the babies who depend on them.  In the case of a trapped wolf, the males also have their whole being dedicated to returning to their pack.  Many desperate animals have actually chewed off their own foot to get out of a leg hold trap!  Then they go off to die of gangrene.  Leg hold traps, spring traps, conibear traps, all traps are hideously cruel and barbaric. 82 other countries around the world have banned all traps based on the "cruelty aspect".  Why not America?  

In addition, the trapped animal is exposed to the elements --- snow, rain, lightening,very high temperatures, etc -- the trapped animal will soon become dehydrated, and some starve to death (you cannot count on a trapper to check his traps on a timely basis).  Trapped animals are also helpless to predator attacks. 

Mr. Bezos, the undersigned compassionate customers of Amazon pledge to give up their memberships and "prime" if you continue to deal in these instruments of torture and so much misery for innocent wild creatures who are in THEIR homes, the forests, and the wild, doing what they need to do to simply survive when suddenly and painfully their freedom is taken from them, caught in an instrument of death. 

We ask you to refrain from making a profit off the backs of suffering animals, immediately!
