Yesterday 4/14/2020 - We, Amazon Affiliates/Associates, received an email stating that our percentage rates that we receive by posting our links to Facebook Groups, or other ways of attracting traffic to amazon.com were going to be cut, by MORE than half.

What this has done to us:
This happening has RUINED thousands of Facebook groups who provide income for their families by posting promotional codes, price decreases on certain products, or super good deals in general for their following they have obtained through very hard work. It is a revenue decrease of over 62.5% for us and has left us all at a loss as to how we are going to be able to pay our own bills or contribute to our households finances. You've taken food off our table, and roofs over our heads. We were given ZERO reason as to why beyond DRASTIC change to our pay rate, leaving us all scrambling to find other ideas/affiliate sources to sign up with. Groups, big and small, have brought you $50,000+ revenue in ONE month - much larger groups I'm sure have brought you well over $100,000 if not into the millions category. To be informed of this by email, with no given reason as to WHY it was taking place, if it's permanent or NOT, was a very large slap in the face to us affiliates. Everyone is struggling bad enough due to the current pandemic within the United States and other countries, and now, hundreds, if not, thousands, will struggle even more due to this pay cut. Which yes, doesn't take "effect" next check, but it will end up beyond impacting us in the long run. You're taking income away from the single parents in this world, the struggling college students, the family that's just trying to make ends meet, the people who have chronic illnesses and are unable to punch a time clock every day, and I'm sure many others.
So we, the undersigned, are asking you to please, reconsider this drop in fees that we received. We can understand a slight drop, but the drop that we received is absolutely appalling and just heart wrenching on our end. These Facebook Groups that we run, bring in 100's of thousands, if not MILLIONS for Amazon every year - which is probably "nothing" to you guys, but the income we received doing so, is everything to us.
