When this franchise had nothing, Frank Gore gave everything he had to us. Frank's drive, energy and will to win is still felt within the fans of this team. Frank fell just short of winning a superbowl with the 49ers and has recently passed Barry Sanders for the 3rd most rushing yards in NFL history. Frank has stated that he is a 49er for life and as far as we the fans are concerned, he is. He is a part of this team and a part of this franchise. Myself and many others want to see Frank rewarded for what he has given to this franchise. I propose that he deserves to receive that in the form of being a champion and getting a superbowl ring as that would show him that not only does he see himself as a 49er forever, but so do we.
