Tell JCPenney to close for Thanksgiving

Just about the most important thing to most people is their family.
My wife and I have been married for over 30 years and we treasure having our children and grandchildren share the traditional Thanksgiving day with us.
Having both worked in retail for many years it is the last family day before the hectic Holiday shopping season.
Now my wife's employer of over 30 years, JCPenney, is taking this important day away from us.
Last year and now again this year the executives of JCPenney have decided that being open on Thanksgiving day is more important than the family lives of their thousands of employees.
I urge the CEO and Board of Directors of JCPenney to be the Family Oriented store that they once were and to put the well being of their employees above the few extra dollars they might make by being open on Thanksgiving day.
Chances are that by being a better family company they will make more profit for the Holidays.
