Dear Governor JB Pritzker,

Our community is asking for you to come to Willowbrook to meet with us, to see what it is like for us to live in such close proximity to Sterigenics.

You made campaign promises to our community that you would keep us safe from Ethylene Oxide (class 1 carcinogen) emitted from Sterigenics in Willowbrook. When you and the IEPA issued the seal order, our community (literally and figuratively) breathed a sigh of relief.

Now we hear that there are talks to allow Sterigenics to begin using EtO again, either through negotiations or legislatively - this cannot and must not happen.

If you could see a "day in the life" for those of us who live near Sterigenics, you would understand. We implore you to come to our community. Come and meet with us, walk the streets with us. See where our beautiful innocent kids go to school (half - mile away), where they play T-ball, where we all spend our lives in such close proximity to this repeat offender.

We deserve answers, We demand a townhall before any backdoor deals are being cut with cancer spewing repeat offender.
