Our city of Maple Valley has experienced much growth around and much heartache along Washington State Highway 169. It is our main arterial for within our city and its the main entrance and exit to and from our great city.

Our local elected officials have campaigned regularly to Olympia with some participation but we still have a long way to go. Our growth is barely slowing which is causing growing congestion, we have difficulty supporting businesses with minimal transportation options and, most importantly, we have lost many loved citizens within our community along this highway. We need to look into expanding lanes to relieve congestion and installing more barriers to start.

We urge our legislators to create change in the queue and prioritize Washington State Highway 169. It is deemed a Highway of State Significance and needs to be addressed as such.
