Golf by nature of the game and with limited modifications can comply completely with the intent of the "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order.  With these difficult times people need to get out, get some walks and health (physical and mental) while still following the rules in place. 

Many states with Shelter in place or Stay at Home are allowing golf rounds, with modification to take place.

As a solution what we ask is the following:

1. Allow golf courses to stay open.
2. Payment must take place electronically.
3. Club houses will remain closed.
4. No Shared equipment - No Ball Washers, Sand containers or Practice Equipment to be left on course. To be removed by maintenance crew prior to course opening.
5. No Range Balls or Shared Putting Green Balls. 
6. Flag sticks will NOT be removed during play.
7. No Rakes - flatten sand with foot.
8. Holes will be placed two inches above the ground or cut in such a way that ball does not need to be retrieved from within hole, thus eliminating contact.
9. No golf carts will be allowed. Personally owned push carts only. 
10. All rules of social distancing must be followed - 6' minimum spacing between players. No Congregating whatsoever. 
11. Golfers asked to limit travel to only to or from golf course, avoiding any non-essential stops along the way.
