This is animal abuse in its cruelest form.  A Joplin, MO resident abandoned two dogs in a house for at least one month.  One dog survived by eating the other dog.  He was also smart enough to turn on a water faucet to keep from dying of thirst.  When all of this was discovered, the house was completely flooded and destroyed, the 2nd dog was a corpse, and the remaining dog, Dutch was as emaciated as a dog can be and still be alive. He is being treated at the local Humane Society and at this time his recovery is grim.  My goal is for the Jasper County, MO prosecutor, Theresa Kenney, to take this case seriously and prosecute this man to the full extent of the law.  (Neglect, abandonment, abuse, causing the death of an innocent animal.)
