Puppy mills and kitten farms allow thousands of innocent animals to be treated poorly then sold for profit. By outlawing the sales of animals from breeders in pet stores in Boulder, we can begin to put a stop to cruel animal breeders. If we start locally in Boulder, similar to the process in California, then maybe one day rescue animals will be sold in pet shops throughout the state of Colorado.
