My husband and I own a martial arts studio as well as a strength and conditioning gym. We are small and family owned. After the lockdown, we almost lost everything, due to not being allowed to open and not being considered essential.  

When we finally opened, we had multiple people come to us and express that they were suicidal and experiencing mental health disorders due to not being able to workout. They told us the gym is necessary for their mental and physical stability. 

We teach people self defense , give them a family like community, make them healthy, raise their confidence and self esteem, and teach them how to respect others.  We are essential.  

Please help make us essential.  We can not survive another lockdown.  We need your vote to allow us to stay open during these hard times.  

Due to the fact we are a small family owned gym, we know everyone that enters and exits our gym. It’s not like the grocery store where there are hundreds of unknown people coming in and out.  We are able to control the flow and are still able to allow members to come in and train and stay as safe as possible. 

Please make us essential and keep small family owned gyms alive during this time !!!
