The most recent CDLE press conference stated that discussions for Phase II of the unemployment program will begin next week and that they HOPE to know more by the end of February. This is UNACCEPTABLE. People are losing their homes, food for their families, vehicles, utilities and most importantly of all, hope.

This petition serves as a plea to Governor Jared Polis of Colorado for him to intervene IMMEDIATELY in order to help these people who have been without pay, many since November.

Program users have reported:

• Up to 6 hours on hold for the call center
• Call center employees hanging up on them when they don't have an answer
• Responses from call center employees stating "I don't know" before hanging up
• Had false information that they did not provide added to their files
• Lack of information with no opportunity to provide input or ask questions that are not vetted
• Lack of empathy from the CDLE and it's incompetent employees overall
• Losing any and all trust in the system put in place to help them
