A year ago, Hopkins and Clowney were two of the Texans' four best players. They are now both gone (along with a 2019 4th round pick) for:

• Barkevious Mingo
• Jacob Martin
• David Johnson
• Gareon Conley (via SEA 2019 3rd round pick)
• 2019 2nd round pick
• 2020 4th round pick

This is an extremely disappointing trade for the Texans. Bill O'Brien has amassed too much power in the organization and DESERVES to be relieved of his duties as General Manager, Offensive Coordinator, AND Head Coach. He has usurped the power of the McNairs and has become the face of the organization. He is clearly in way over his head as he has not been able to capitalize on participating in a weak division, barely winning 10 games this past regular season (2019) and NEVER making it to the AFC Conference Championship despite having some of the most premiere players in the league. 

Bill has had his time here in Houston. There have been messages sent out by former players discussing how he has clearly been misguided in these past "blockbuster" trades with some past players even accusing him of being drunk while making these asinine deals. There will be a reckoning McNairs, from the media, from players on the team, but most of all from Texans fans themselves. People will stop spending money going to games, buying jerseys, and purchasing NFL TV packages all because of your decision to keep Bill O'Brien at the head of your organization. Act now to prevent this huge colossal impact on your organization which will not be reversible for years to come.
