On 8/11 at about 3:00pm, Leo the Cat was let out  for his usual frolics close to home.  At about 3:30, he was found by a dog walker on a path with a rope still tied around him .  He had been strung up  and beaten.  He had broken ribs, broken neck, bloodied mouth and ears and a bulging eye.  The monsters who did this videoed it and posted it on the internet.  Leo was 3 yo and came from a loving family and they are in a state of shock especially the 2 sons, ages 6 and 4.  Leo was microchipped and that is how his owner was found.  Because of the increase in cat killings, there has been a petition started to request there be an increase in maximum sentence for animal cruelty charges.  Since this  happened and is happening in the UK, you have to be a british citizen or UK resident to sign this.  This petition is for the rest of the world .
