Fitbit has been selling their ionic devices faulty. It is not coincidence that most of the devices fail just after the one year warranty. Though there are many consumers who have complained this in consumer forums, fitbit doesn't acknowledge this issue. However, they are trying to bait consumers to buy a new device by giving 25% discount.

Any posts that are made in the forum questioning this behavior is promptly removed by the fitbit employees. 

I call for an investigation doubting that they have purposefully rigged their devices to last only till the warranty.
