Help us make it to 5,000!

In the past week, over 3,000 of you have used your voice to tell Bishop Morlino and the Catholic Diocese of Madison that denying full funeral rites to gay and lesbian Catholics is NOT in any way acceptable, just, or Christian. Now, we need your help to reach our goal of 5,000 signatures. DignityUSA's petition is currently being out-paced bY a petition in support of Bishop Morlino, which cites his guidance (including guidance about denying funerals to people in same-sex relationships) as "a beautiful reflection of Christ’s admonition to love thy neighbor, as well as one of Christ’s Seven Spiritual Works of Mercy— 'to admonish the sinner'." We can't let this stand. Here's what we need you to do: 1. If you haven't already signed DignityUSA's petition, sign now. 2. Share our petition on Facebook. 3. Encourage your friends to sign by sending emails, messages, or speaking with them in-person. We need your support to send a clear, powerful, coherent message to the Diocese of Madison: discrimination is NOT Christ-like; gay and lesbian Catholics and their families deserve full funerals (and so much more!) from our Church leaders.
